MIDA Partners at the Komotini Bread Festival

Great success for the Komotini bread Festival: flavours, traditions and Mediterranean culture the central issues of the folk event within the Mediterranean to country Circuit.

Welcome guests of the Komotini Municipality and Rodopi Development: from Italy the Lead partner ANCI Basilicata and the Municipality of Favara; from Greece, Nevrokopi Municipality, Local Authorities Union of Xanthi District - LAUX, NAGREF and Mousouron Municipality, from Cyprus, Larnaca Development and form Turkey, the Kesan Municpality.

Cous Cous Fest 10th anniversary

The music of  Khaled, the cous cous interpreted by Gianfranco Vissani, a conversation with Niccolò Ammaniti, the magic atmospheres of  an arab tenda berbera on the white sands of San Vito, the flavours of Cous Cous from eight different Mediterranean Countries under the judge of the famous chef  Stefano Bonilli.

These are the ingredients of the Cous Cous Fest of San Vito Lo Capo, international festival and exhibition of flaovour and culture at its tenth edition, full of special news.

The Fair about the Cous Cous, a poor recipe rich of culture and symbols, will occur on San Vito Lo Capo from September 25 to 30.

The arab and Mediterrean village of San Vito will be the traditional framework for the event, oganised by the Sicilian Agency Feedback ltd, in cooperation with the Municipality, with the celebration of 3000 years and 10 editions of Cous Cous Fest.

The tradition of the recipe since 900 B.C. according to the Solomon’s legend; the king, fallen in love with the Queen of Sheba was cured by a plate of cous cous. From these legendary events, a common recipe for men, populations, immigrants, rituals and festivals. The next edition is approaching!
